Martin Vasilyev and Emery Carter interviewed Mr. Wong about his time at Browning and these were his responses.
How is your time at Browning?
It is great! I love my time at Browning, and my students are lovely and hardworking. They have impressed me with their academic motivation and engagement in their learning. I also feel supported by my colleagues and appreciate the opportunities to grow and learn from them.
How is your time with students?
Working with students is one of the most rewarding aspects of my job. I love helping them discover the beauty and wonders of science and seeing their enthusiasm and skills for science grow.
What materials does Browning have that are beneficial to you?
Browning has a well-equipped science lab with a variety of tools and equipment that I can use to provide hands-on learning experiences for my students. We have a very fancy 96 wells Thermal Cycler.
What do you wish Browning had?
I would love to have a lab tech or a lab manager to help the science teachers prepare lab materials and equipment.
What were your first impressions of Browning?
My first impressions of Browning were positive. The school building is beautiful and compact, and the staff and students were welcoming and friendly.

Yeap.
What did you learn from your time at Browning?
I have learned the importance of building relationships with my students and how to support my students in their academic success.

They have good food.

Mr. Wong is a new teacher at Browning. Over the course of this year his popularity has grown but what do we know about him? In todayś interview we will go more in depth in who Mr. Wong is. In Mr. In Wong's childhood his favorite subject was definitely science. He was always curious about how things work and just can't stop asking questions. His favorite thing is doing experiments and exploring the natural world. Mr. Wong's favorite subject to teach is Biology and Life Science. His eyes sparkle when he talks about photosynthesis,cells, and dna. Mr. Wong chose to come here because he was attracted to Browning's reputation for academic excellence and commitment to educating boys. He chose Browning because has heard lots of good things about the Browning community as a great space for students to grow and learn. His first impression of browning was positive. The school building is beautiful and compact, and the staff and students were welcoming and friendly. A few months later he said, ¨Browning is great!
