Hopes for New Browning Building

The New Building:

We are obviously all excited about the new upper school building, however, we don’t know too much about it. This leads to a lot of speculation circling around the school about what is wanted in the new building. I wrote this article in hopes to put our desires into one place. A big part of the new building is the size of it.

People are excited about having a bigger, more modern space. With the bigger size, we are hoping for more areas to hang out, talk and work. More leisure space and maybe even an outdoor area would be a great way to take a break and spend our free time and would create nice working environments. Browning is a place where we can hone our skills. We have lots of classes in Browning, however, more classes would be a nice addition to an already major improvement. Alexander made the recommendation of an economy class, and no, not an affordable section of seating for airplanes, he meant studying the economy, stock market, cryptocurrency, and taxes. Browning offers a variety of athletic opportunities, but Nicholas is hoping for a pool. This would be a huge attraction because anywhere that has a pool is automatically cool. I hope this goes swimmingly. Charlie hopes for lacrosse and field equipment which will create more sporting opportunities. For the creative minds, Ms. Bancroft hopes that all the art equipment we have in our current building will also be in the new building. She also hopes for a little garden, but everywhere could use a little garden. One of the major pros for Browning is all the extracurricular activities that the school has to offer. A lot of people wanted a designated room for chess. We have all the equipment, plus an amazing chess coach, but a room for chess with fancier boards and clocks would make an atmosphere great for playing chess. Charlie hopes for a photography club, which would be great because it would increase the massive selection of activities.
