NYC FLOODS

Last month, People all over New York and New Jersey experienced more than 2 inches of rainfall, because of that, the water levels rose 2 feet and caused flash floods. Even our school announced that parents can pick up their children due to the seriousness of the rainfall.

This kind of rainfall caused highways, including the FDR drive and other waterfront roads to flood. People reported that the subway was flooded the most, due to its stations being underground, which makes subway service very limited and inconvenient. In my opinion, most likely, tropical storm Ophelia's remnants caused this disaster.

Some Videos displayed that the Lower Hudson Valley had flooded roads, too. This area still had a flash flood warning that was disastrous.

Once again, this was a serious problem. A very serious one.
