NFL End-of-Season Report
Sadly, the Eagles lost to the Cardinals. Bird-on-bird massacre. Anyway, I'm back with my end-of-season takes.
First off, Jacksonville. If you haven't seen, the Jacksonville Jaguars fumbled their division to, drumroll please, the Houston Texans. I know I said Jacksonville was a sneaky contender, but come on. Who could've predicted that they would fumble their way into missing the playoffs and losing the division? However, I cannot say I didn't know the Texans were contenders. They could do some serious damage this year. I predict a playoff run.
Second of all, three teams from the AFC North made it out. Can you guess who? I wouldn't have been able to. The Bengals getting edged out of the playoffs, for the Steelers? This was very unpredictable.
If you are wondering why I didn't make a top 10 list this time, I've decided that I single-handedly cursed the Eagles franchise by putting them at No. 1, and I've decided I can't do that again. So yeah. I've banned myself from the top 10 lists.
All in all, this season has had some crazy twists and turns. The Lions are looking like an actual team for once in over a decade, and the Panthers proceed to somehow be the worst team in the league while having one of the most hyped prospects of all time. I don't even know where to start with the Bears front office because they have an actual chance to make an amazing team with the Panthers' 1. overall pick, so they better not mess it up. I say they trade down to the 2. overall pick and take Maserati Marv to get Justin Fields some elite tools. Mark my words, Justin Fields will be elite, he just needs the right tools around him, and his front office has the chance to make that happen for once.
Anyway, I'll see you guys again after the playoffs.
