Browning 5/6 Soccer by Pip Patterson and Theodore Yang
“What happened last year does not matter, it’s a new year, a new team and a new season.”
St. Bernards
The ⅚ soccer team is starting off to a amazing start, beating St. Bernards 4 to 0. This amazing game was made possible by three amazing players they are Dominic our team leader and amazing attacking force that will surely drive us to goals throughout the season, Christian our main defender getting the ball to our more forward players and making sure the ball does not come to our half of the field, and finally Mica the man of the match our amazing goalie who won multiple 1v1’s and had lockdown defense and this would not have been possible without our team captains Dominic and Cayman the people who lead our warmups and hype us up. The incredible score was made possible by Dominic, Dominic scoring a hat trick +1.
Cathedral
The Browning Panthers almost doubled their goals in their second game against Cathedral, the score was 7 to 1! Dominic once again scoring a hat trick making his total goals thus far 7 goals and with goals coming from Lucas’s the left back crazy shot from around the penalty area making the score 5 to 1 then another goal from the right back Pip that was complete luck but from the outside of the foot and the box making the score 6 to 1 then of a corner three people missed a shot but then after it bouncing of the right post right to Nico P. He scored making the score 7 to 1. This is a recap of the first two games as we can see the Panthers got off to a great start.
Town
Our third game of the season against Town was a great match, the score 6 to 0, with Town scoring two own goals and Dominic scoring twice making his total goals 9.
This game was a hard game in the first half with almost no goals, but then when Town ran out of steam the Panthers started to score and then a bit farther than halfway into the second half, their best player getting a cramp that sealed the deal for Town and they won making the panthers record 3 and 0.
Lycée Français
A big game against Lycée Français, we did not lose but did not win. The score was 2 to 2 Ivan and T.J. scored, but it should have been 3 to 2 but the referee did not say, one of our goals was offside and another was not advantage but it doesn’t mean that it was a loss so that's good, but Browning is still untouched by loss.
Buckley
Sadly again the Panthers tied but it was not a loss but they are our rivals. Buckley did not score but they had great effort and still they have not lost a game and our rivals have not beat us in the season.
Grace Church
Another time, it is annoying that the Panthers keep tying but they scored twice and so did Grace Church. This is our third tie so now we have as many wins as we have ties but we are still undefeated.
St. Davids
Still in our tying slump we have officially more ties than wins and they even had a 6 foot 3 (not true) player and they still did not win. They had a terrible strategy: kick the ball over the defense and just hope the stricker kicks it in.
Allen Stevenson
This game was the end of the tying slump. They were looking like a brick wall for the first ten minutes but then the whole team just fell apart and we won 3 to 0 and that is the end of the tying slump.
Windward
Today the panthers won today for the fifth time ending their season undefeated winning against the windward vikings 5 to 1
