Jaydes
Jaydes previously known as evlls is an underground artist who has released several incredible albums including ghetto cupid, Heartpacing, sativa and singles such as slugs, poison and fendi. Jaydes is from Tamarac Florida and produces his own music. Jaydes unique ability to combine elements of r and b as well as electronic music and hip-pop makes him a one of a kind artist. Jaydes came on the underground hip-hop scene in 2022 and gained popularity from soundcloud and Titok. Sadly Jayde’s recent album(count up dracula) was terrible at least compared to his other albums. Thankfully there was one good song on the album (Hysteric). Overall Jaydes is an outstanding artist and he deserves more fame and recognition for his music.
Swapa
Swapa is a newer member of the underground community but he is one the best in the current scene along with 1oneam and Che who we talk about late. Swapa, like Izaya Tiji, is very versatile, but has mastered his main sound. Inspired by Playboi Carti and Future, songs like “i cut ties” and “Black Truck” showcase his signature sound. In the beginning of his career he had to face many “clone” allegations but has overcome them and solidified his spot in the underground scene. His new album “Armageddon” has gotten many good reviews from fans and critics, the fans are excited for his next drop as they see him evolve and make his way to the mainstream.
Izaya Tiji
Izaya Tiji is one of the most influential pioneers of the underground. He was a member of the popular underground collective “SlayWorld” along with collaborators Summrs, Autumn, KANKAN, and Weiland. His unique voice and flow set him apart from other artists. Songs like “Interlude”, “Po It” and “Hunna Hunna Hunnas” show his versatility and amazing distinct sound. Unfortunately, Izaya has recently been suffering with his mental health as it is suspected he is schizophrenic which has made him “lose his love for music”. On January 10 2025 Izaya released his new SoundCloud exclusive album “o” with many good songs though fans say it isn't “Prime Izzy”. Even with all the ups and downs, it is undeniable that Izaya is one of the best in the underground and deserves a bigger fanbase.
Prettifun
Prettifun, also newer to the scene, has recently exploded in popularity after the release of his album “Pretti”. He has in the past produced for Che, he made the beat for “pizza time” and “miley cyrus” by Che. He has truly created a new sound, and even though he has only been popular since about August, many have hopped on the pretti wave. Prettifun’s high pitch voice immediately grabs your attention and his infectious flow keeps you listening, his music is like ear candy and keeps you wanting for more, he has recently been teasing the release of his new album “FunHouse Deluxe”. On January 27 2025, he was interviewed in the “Well Well Well” series by Our Generation Music where he talked about his personal life and more, I think by the end of the year he will be very popular!
