Meta Quest Pro: The Headset That Kills

Have you ever thought that maybe we have been giving tech a bit too much control of our lives? Well, Palmer Lucky didn’t think so. Palmer Lucky was the former Co-Founder of oculus, Palmer said he got the idea by watching the anime, Sword Art Online, stating “ the first season was horrible”. The idea is if you die in game three explosive charges will blow off your head therefore killing you. But don’t be worried as Palmer Lucky said that the headset is just an idea and he does not have the guts to bring it to life. My thoughts are that if you pay for the game you’re paying for your death! Palmer was fired by Oculus. The company wished him luck in the future on the “ meta” Twitter account. The headset was eventually released but not the “sword art online” software/explosive charges. The headset by itself acts as a normal oculus and has incredible features! It retails for $1500/$2000 depending on your preferences. The headset includes my favorite feature “Horizon Workrooms” it is where you act like you are in a meeting room and you can draw on the board! Someone who does not have an oculus can put a screen in that “workroom” and they will appear live on the screen like zoom but in VR.
