When we got to Randall’s Island the weather was pretty cool, around 60 Degrees Fahrenheit. All the activities and games were set up and the participants seemed pretty excited to start.

The Color Core program is a new initiative that aims to foster a sense of community and friendly competition among the middle school students. It is inspired by the house system in Harry Potter, where students belong to one of four houses, instead replaced by Brownings Colors: Red, Black, Silver, or White.
